TRAVELING AGAIN!

We are working to get out and about! International travel has been slow in coming, but things are starting to happen. We've got a few spots on some of the trips we have going out in the next year or two- 2 spaces for trekking in the Mustang region of Nepal in October, possibly 2 spots on a 4X4 Australian Adventure in July '23, 2 for horseback riding in Mongolia in August '23, and biking in Vietnam in November '23. Check out the full list of adventures to keep updated on our plans as countries open up and we plan the next couple years. We're thinking of Kili, Japan, Scotland, Inca Trail, and Everest Base Camp in '24. Email us to get on the interested list! We'll send you info packets when they are set. The Azores and packrafting in New Zealand are also possibilities. Have a destination idea of your own but you want some help making it happen? Give us a call. We are creating trips that balance safety, financial risk, and the desire to get out. Hope you will come join us outside!

    TANZANIAN RETURN!

It had been over two years since we had seen our women friends in Lake Eyasi and Yusuf, the guides, and porters on Kilimanjaro. We were anxious to see how they were faring. Both the Lake Eyasi trip in February and the Kilimanjaro Climb in March were way beyond our expectations! Our time in Eyasi was filled with reconnecting with the women, working on the projects, and experiencing life in Tanzania firsthand. As always, it was a life-changing trip. Read the update on the projects for more details on what's been happening. The Kili Climb was just as meaningful for those on it. The climb itself is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, but this time we were honored by the thanks of the porters and guides for the support given during the pandemic. Read more about it here. You can help contribute to the Ethiopian Relief Fund, Lightness' Women's Projects, Yusuf's Kilimanjaro Projects, or the Yusuf, Guides & Porters Scholarships through Journeys of Solutions. Thank you so much for all you have already done!

    TURNING 70!

We just returned from having the honor of celebrating the 70th birthday of a longtime PPS friend with a backpack in Utah! He and his wife decided to ring in his next decade with a remote backpack in Grand Staircase/Escalante. We scrambled over slickrock, conquered sand dunes, and found ancient pictographs. He didn't look a day over 50 as he climbed up the cliffs with a full pack! It was 8 days filled with breathtaking scenery, big adventure, and lots and lots of laughter. This is why we keep going- it brings us such joy to have the chance to share special experiences with our PPS friends. Let us know if you want to get outside- we'd love to take you!
