Join us and our French and Nepal counterparts in the excitement of building a school/community center for a community in desperate need of one. Read more about the project here.  Jhule is a village area about 30km from Kathmandu at about 6,000 feet on the way to the old route you had to walk to get to Everest prior to flights to Lukla. It is in a pretty, forested and steep hilly area.  In November 2018 after our Everest Base Camp trek,  we will be going to the site in Jhule to learn more about this project.  We have already raised funds to begin funding this project.  The goal is to by the end of 2018 to have funded it enough that ground breaking can begin.  Once we visit the site, we will have more information about working on the site in 2019. We anticipate being able to assist in the physical work on the school.   More details by the end of 2018.  We anticipate as we have done in Lake Eyasi, Tanzania that there is a great need and hence as we move forward many opportunities for assistance will emerge in the community beyond assisting with the physical structure.  Please let us know if you would like to receive information on going to this project in 2019 after we complete the information in December 2018.  We can arrange a trekking experience prior or post being in Jhule in 2019 also if you wish.
