Mount Kilimanjaro- One of the Seven Summits Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest point in Africa. This world famous volcano, with its snowcapped peak rising above the African plain, holds an almost irresistible lure. Despite its height of 19,344 feet, with the right preparation, the summit is within reach of many people's ability. On the nontechnical route to the top (no rope or technical experience needed), a climber ascends through every ecological zone on the planet. Highlights include: * The Kilimanjaro Climb (including an extra day on the mountain to acclimatize) by the Machame route. This is one of the most varied and beautiful hikes I have been on in the world! * Lodging in Moshi at a special hotel at the edge of town, quiet and beautiful. * Safari to several of Tanzania's best parks including Ngorongoro Crater and the edge of the Serengeti. * Overnight stay in lodges. * Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakeys discovered early man. * Maasai Village. * Tanzanian guide trained during visit to USA (not common for other groups). *Other options Return to Kilimanjaro main page To Register - Call Now!
