Viewing Post for: Inca Trail I 2013

Location: Lake Titicaca, Puno, Peru
Each person has a unique story to tell of their two days on the Island of Amaniti with a host family. The picture gives you an idea of the sharing of cultures. We danced, cooked and hiked with this group of fascinating and warm people.
Now we fly to Lima on Thursday. Friday will see the group separating. For those leaving late at night, we hopefully will have time to go deep beneath a monastery into the crypts. Here human bones from burials fill these caverns. Maybe we can have time to swim in the icy Pacific.
