Enjoy trekking in some of the most famous and classic scenery in the world! The name alone conjures scenery of world-class images. Legendary Patagonia. Darwin visited Patagonia in 1835, and his journal shows that he was as impressed as you will be.
Still largely undiscovered and untouched, Patagonia is a geographical melange with scenery ranging from dramatic mountain formations and smoky volcanoes to flat barren pampas and expansive ice fields. During this unique trekking journey, you explore Patagonia by foot on both Chilean and Argentinean sides. Experience Trekking in El Chalten, the base of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, Piedras Blancas Glacier, and visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier in Calafate, hiking in Torres del Paine National Park (World Heritage Site), including an adventure tour to trek in Tierra del Fuego National Park. The trip also includes sailing on Pehoe Lake, a ferry through the Strait of Magellan to Tierra del Fuego Island, and a trip through the Beagle Channel.
