Join this local adventure to get a great day of exercise on the Genesee River by sea kayak and then on the Genesee Valley Greenway by mountain bike. Meet at the new Genesee River parking area in Avon for a quick safety and skills reminder session before heading down river about 12 miles to the Industry bridge take-out. Here you will sastisfy your hunger with a hardy lunch and change into your biking gear. After lunch you can bike straight back on the Genesee Valley Greenway to your cars at Avon, about 14 miles, or lengthen your trip with a side detour on the Lehigh Valley trail. This is a great day to get some solid exercise in a non-competitive group, meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and explore our local resources.
