Each of you Muggles has arrived to be given your wand for your training at Hogwarts. Your powers are not fully developed as you make your way through your lessons in wizardry. For example, at the depthless dark pond with deadly denizens, your wits and skills will be needed to cross the hazards set out by Lord Voldemort. Or maybe you'll need to find your way through the Forbidden Forest with an ancient coded map. You get the idea.

Just as Harry Potter needs his friends to stand by him, you will need your friends to support you. Together you cross land by foot and mountain bike and paddle over water in a special nearby wilderness area. Engage your team in rope skills, gps use and map reading. You suceed in surviving by teamwork, sharing sometimes the challenges with the other students of the darker and lighter arts of wizardry. Unlock what is hidden and search for what is known only to them. As you conquer each challenge, you will find out the secrets locked in the hearts of your competitors.

This course is designed to challenge your outdoor skill and your wits, explore a new area, and meet others who enjoy challenges. The team who crosses the finish line first with the correct information, takes home the prize! Yet everyone takes home the prize of adventure, fun and comraderie from this nontraditional competition.

Limited to 32 participants. Each year the program fills earlier. Register early to reserve a spot for your team. Skill areas include Mt. biking, water crossings, finding your way using compass and GPS, running, hiking and rope skills.
